What is American Bedrock?
To me the Bedrock of America is her People, but if the People are fractured, so is our Nation.
The most important things we need to restore our People and rebuild our society are:
1. Great healthcare for everyone so we can all be well and healthy to live our best lives.
2. Excellent education is next; to help every kid learn and grow, and to help every young person find their most fulfilling future.
3. Well trained Americans should then be able to find jobs and pursue careers that are fulfilling financially and on what ever other levels the person desires.
4. People with good jobs pursuing full active lives, for themselves and with their families, need good affordable housing to live those lives in.
To me an America where these four points are covered is a world where everyone thrives and is truly able to “live their best life” – while this phrase is often used as a joke or cliche, it should not be; it should be the expectation.
